GET REC’D

We’re always on the lookout for exceptional talent in any role, but here are a few of our most pressing open Recs (so many puns. so little time.)

You know the drill. Read the descriptions below and if any of them are you, send your resumé and cover letter to gigs@recsf.com.

Associate Creative Director
What it’s all about:

The Associate Creative Director/Senior Art Director will be responsible for the overall supervision of RecSF’s creative department, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards. The ACD will interface effectively between creative department, the client engagement team, and the Founder/ECD.

As a leader of the department, especially in cases where the ECD is unavailable, the ACD/Senior AD will be looked to as one of the company’s problem solvers, having a positive attitude and the ability to work under tight deadlines a requirement. No egos, please.

The ACD/Senior AD will approve all design work before going to the ECD or presentation to the client, including reviewing the creative work with the account executives and taking their input and requests for change — if any — into consideration.

The ACD/Senior AD will be someone with a strong design background and have a well-developed graphic sense. Exceptional organization and communication skills will be required, as mentoring, teaching and coaching the rest of the team — particularly the younger designers and staff — are all part of the daily duties.

Staying out in front of technology is also a given, and mastery of the latest design programs is a must. In addition, the ACD/Senior AD must be fluent in all Mac graphic design programs: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with web design programs is a must.
