We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our Video & Motion Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through video, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for various platforms, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Video Editing
  • Edit raw footage into polished videos, incorporating graphics, sound, and special effects as needed.
  • The ability to tell an engaging story through skillful video editing.
  • Collaborate with producers and directors to understand project goals and creative vision.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent style.
Post-Production
  • Assist in project setup, proxy creation, syncing, transcodes, logging, dailies, and transcriptions.
  • Perform color correction and audio mixing to enhance final output.
  • Manage and organize video assets and archives for easy retrieval and reference.
  • Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Motion Graphics
  • Design and create engaging motion graphics to enhance video content, including titles, lower thirds, infographics, and visual effects.
  • Integrate motion graphics seamlessly into video projects to elevate storytelling and visual impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to produce high-quality video content.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop concepts and storylines for new video projects.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve video content.
Project Management
  • Lead video projects from concept to completion, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with team members.
  • Adhere to project schedules, tracking progress and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Allocate time effectively and manage work based on project budgets as needed.
Technical Skills
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and industry trends.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing software and hardware.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of video marketing strategies and promotional content.
  • Contribute to the creation of storyboards and shot lists for video projects.
  • Experience using professional camera equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in video editing or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics creation with Adobe After Effects
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C video content creation

  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to take direction and feedback.

  • Critical thinking skills to analyze projects and make informed decisions.
